Holidays in the UK

Many residents of the British Isles only given the UK second place when planning a holiday, but who can say that they have seen all that these lands have got to offer? Notorius for bad weather, most people look aborad, but I personally find even the inclement days exciting and enjoyable. There is nothing like sitting in a homely inn and watching the mist or rain outside; especially if there is a roaring fire...

But when the sun shines, this is a spectacular destination - from the stunning mountains of the North, to the ancient architecture of Bath. To see other sites that offer accommodation directories, take a look here: Bed And Breakfast, where you will find information on guest houses supplying bed and breakfast, self catering cottages holiday apartments, camp sites, restaurants, pubs and hotels in Britain.

Gloucestershire

I will always say that Cornwall is the best spot to visit, but traveling around Gloustershire recently revealed hunderds of spectacular sites and views. If you travel here, make sure you seek out Offa's Dyke, the one time border between Wales and England. I wandered across fields and found it amongst woods, presented with an amazing view of Tintern Abbey.

Essex

Essex is a different kettle of fish entirely. Southend-on-Sea boasts the longest pier in the World together with a newly refurbished promenade and Lagoon. This is a great place to try sailing, kayaking and other water sports with tuition available. An excellent B and B in Southend is The Landings, not far from the Hospital and Airport. Southend offers a vast range of water sports and marine activities alongside Adventure Island, with its roller coasters and the wonders of the Sea Life Centre.
