In recent years, surfing has taken centre stage in Cornwall, and the Summer sees the surfing population swell dramatically. But there are many other watersports.

One surf shop in Bude is Bored Lizard, who also have their own brand of clothing. Laurent Calvez, a bodyboarder from Brittany, set up the shop some years ago, and has seen it grow considerably.

In Rock there is a Water Taxi across the Camel Estuary to Padstow, and power boat charters available from Rock Boat Charters. There is a lot going on in this little area.
