Shopping in St Ives can really be a global experience but there are times when only locally made products will do, especially when you’re looking for that unique gift. Following on from the success of previous events, St Ives will once again be hosting one of the popular Made In Cornwall Arts & Crafts Fairs.

“St Ives is a lovely place to be and there’s plenty to offer locals and visitors” says local organiser and Made In Cornwall member Dee Brotherton, “so why not make a day of it and call into the Spring fair while you’re here? There aren't the huge crowds of high summer so there's still room to stroll through the town and have a really good look at what St Ives has to offer.”

Members will be offering a wide range of crafts for sale including jewellery, ceramics, textiles, books and stained glass.

“The ‘Made In Cornwall’ scheme, promoted by Cornwall County Council Trading Standards, identifies genuine, quality Cornish goods. If you look for the distinctive “engine house” or the “Made In Cornwall” logo then you can be sure you have found the genuine article. The artists and craftworkers at the St Ives Spring Arts & Crafts Fair, who are all members of the scheme, will be delighted to tell you about their work” added Dee, “and with a range of prices to suit all pockets you may just find that special gift you’ve been looking for, especially at a time when many people are choosing with extra care and looking for good quality at competitive prices.”
