Warm up your winter days with a visit to Tate St Ives where residents in Cornwall can now get 2 for 1 entry until 3 January 2012. See works by renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, Frank Stella and Bridget Riley in our current exhibition, 'The Indiscipline of Painting'.

Simply bring along proof of Cornish residence when you visit the gallery e.g. a utility bill or driving license.

(The 2 for 1 offer is valid from 9th November until 3 January 2012 for residents in Cornwall only. To claim the offer please present proof of address in Cornwall at the admissions desk at the time of buying tickets, e.g. driving license or utility bill. A place for people to come and have a fun and friendly day out without worrying about the post-Christmas credit card bills. With free entry for all our Facebook fans until 1pm, cheap food and drink, games for kids and adults alike and a cracking game of rugby too, Social Saturday is the perfect carefree way to start off the New Year. Plus expect extra free stuff for Foursquare users too!

We'll be running a smartphone scavenger hunt around the famous Recreation Ground, and we'll be putting people's rugby skills to the test in Rugby's Ultimate Challenge Kompetition (the RUCK!). The main attraction will be the National League rugby clash between Redruth's Cornish stars and Bristol-based Dings Crusaders, so come and join in with the rest of Cornwall!

Social Saturday also wants to give Cornish businesses a friendly boost as well. You can qualify for free hospitality via Twitter, and we'll be sure to freely promote your business on the event day too during what will undoubtedly be the biggest crowd of the season!

Traditional Burns Supper

Tregenna Castle will be hosting a Traditional Burns Supper with entertainment flying down from Scotland, a piper, ceilidh band and caller, 3 course Bill O'Fare and of course plenty of Whisky!

Tickets are £35 per person with a special accommodation rate of £25 per person per night (based on a non seaview room).
